I love reflections.  I think that it adds depth and interest to my images.  It is especially effective in images of wading birds.  Sometimes the reflections truly reflect the critter as in the the image here of Great Blue Heron.  Sometimes due to wind or action of the critter the ripples distort the reflection.  Either way it shows the relationship of critters to water; that life giving fluid that keeps us all alive.  I hope you will visit my gallery of avian reflections located here on my website at https://www.theartificialnaturalist.com/Avian-Reflections/
